Another option worth considering is to just start helping identify great founders / startups, helping them however you can, and then introducing them to high quality VC’s and other investors that are are a great fit.

In other words, DO the job (even part-time) before you get hired for it.

If you put a few winning investors and investment opportunities together, the rest should be easy!
