Four other factors to consider:

(1) How well and comfortably someone works at speed (deciding and implementing quickly, with imperfect information and resources);

(2) Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm, especially in the startup's realm (e.g., Do they read and contribute meaningfully to industry blogs and other publications?);

(3) Empathy, interest & kindness; and

(4) Communication skills (clear, succinct & thoughtful writing and speaking + attentive listening).
